To build successful and scalable research programs, I draw from diverse disciplines rooted in understanding patterns of human behavior. Before becoming a researcher, I was as a Senior UX Designer. With a background in communication design and interior design, it was fitting that my early UX design experience connected digital products to physical spaces. Alongside IDEO alums Stacey Chang and Beto Lopez, who founded the groundbreaking Design Institute for Health at UT’s Dell Medical School, I researched how to improve patient outcomes from surgery to recovery. Years later, while searching for data to design better learning tools for medical students around the world, I found my calling in research ops.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is not a one-size-fits-all formula. It's a product of introspection, learning from past endeavors, and a continuous pursuit of refining my craft.

Central to my approach is the recognition that user-centered design is not just a buzzword but a guiding principle that informs every step of my research journey.

Challenging assumptions is not just a step in the process but a foundational element that ensures preconceived notions do not cloud my insights.

I am not just a data collector but a storyteller who weaves narratives that influence strategies, shape products, and transform experiences. My commitment to aligning with UX design principles ensures that every finding I gather serves the ultimate goal of creating solutions that resonate with users.

Research is a reminder that there's a person behind every click, tap, and scroll.
